Nijo Market
Nijo Market is one of the oldest fish markets in Sapporo, and vegetables, fruits and souvenirs are also available here. Restaurants in this market serve bowls of rice topped with sashimi. I went to one of these restaurants with my friends from other regions.
I ordered a small salmon bowl. Then, one of my friends ordered a large bowl with various kinds of sashimi. Seeing her bowl, I envied it a little. The taste of my bowl was excellent and I regretted not ordering bigger one.
During the meal, the master of this restaurant talked to us. He asked us for feedback about the taste and boasted the purchase route of these fresh ingredients. I learned how to purchase fresh sea urchins in spring.
