BOOKOFF
BOOKOFF is a secondhand bookstore of a chain. There are several stores of BOOKOFF in Sapporo. I often go to the bookstores to buy some books with low prices.
These stores sell many kinds of books including business books, dictionaries, specialized books, comics, novels, and so on. Each store has a different variety of books depending on its location because they purchase books from people in its area. For example, a store in an academic district tends to have more textbooks. Investment-related books are likely to be sold at a store in a rich area. Ordinary comics tend to be sold at a store in an ordinary area.
In any case, it is necessary for students to buy textbooks. If some of them can be bought at BOOKOFF, the costs can be saved. Or, it is simply pleasurable to go to the stores since it is welcomed to browse or read books for free!
